Am familiar with the Plantation Landlubber's, & was glad when this new one opened closer to home. I got the ribs, & my husband the pulled pork. The sauce was delicious! That, to me, is always the best way to judge BBQ. The meat on both was tender & juicy. The staff was really friendly and efficient. The only negative: the cole slaw was surprisingly bland; I actually had to add salt & pepper, which I never do. Am looking forward to coming back here, next time for wings!

Just put a pulled-pork sandwich topped with cole slaw and BBQ sauce into my face and it might have been my best decision of 2014. It was PERFECT. Nondescript locale and uninspiring menu, but this sandwich made that irrelevant. Really friendly service to boot.

I'm always looking for a dining experience near my home. I received a flyer in the mail that contained the Coconut Creek information. I decided to try it out. The service was excellent. My server was courteous, pleasant, and always had a smile. I was informed when I sat down that they were out of pulled pork. After perusing the menu I chose the Key West shrimp skewers. These were delicious. I was celebrating my birthday so I ordered a piece of chocolate fudge cake. To my disappointment I was told that this item was also depleted. A substitute selection of Key Lime pie was my second choice, and it was very good. My only down side was the food that was unavailable and the service was too good. What I mean is that everyone in the restaurant seemed to come by to see if everything was OK, at one point two different people in less than a minute. Had I been engaged in conversation these interruptions would have been a little over the top. That said it is refreshing to see people in the service industry who take pride in their work. I will return to try the cake and some of the other entrees.

Second time here to the location in Coconut Creek. Travel to Florida for work often and this is by far the best place to get really cold beers and awesome hot wings. I walked in on Thursday night right before they were about to close and they were happy to hook me up with an ice cold Yuengling and a pile of extra hot wings. Can't wait to be back in a few months. Maybe I'll actually try something else on the menu.

Wonderful Food! Service Was Excellent!!! I usually went to the one in Plantation but now the Coconut Creek location is much closer. The service was fabulous. Every server was very nice and would always ask if we needed anything. Both the GM and Owner stopped by to ask how our meal was. Would highly recommend the BBQ Pork Fries. Of course the wings were wonderful as well. Great Craft Beer selection.

After we finished my wife's doctor's appointment, we were looking for a place for lunch. I started looking through my bookmarks in Coconut Creek on Yelp! and found this place. Its located in the new and nice looking plaza, but to get in and out of that plaza is really confusing. And because no visible signs can be seen from the street makes it even harder to find. I checked in on Yelp! immediately I walked through the door and Bingo! Free Garlic Parm French Fry when check in on Yelp! So I told the bartender let's get that going first. It was cheesy, warm but crispy. And the Parm was added just enough not to make a mess when you try to eat it. I think they are somewhat famous for their wings so I ordered mine with Caribbean Jerk style. Somehow I imagined in my head the wings to be saucy, but it looked more like a dry-rubbed to me. The wings tasted okay, I think the spices were good, but the meat tasted a little dry. The bottom line: food tasted okay. Beer was nice and cold. Our bartender was very friendly and cool. The manager was very nice. He came by a few times and asked us if everything was okay and if we needed anything else. I wish all restaurants can be more like that. We'll come back again the next time we're in the area but this time I'd order my wings in different sauce!

Thankfully my check ins tell me I still need to write a review. Crazy I could have sworn I wrote a review. So this is the deal I have been here many times now. It is in our neighborhood so it is very convenient when we want to grab a quick bite. They have a daily happy hour from 3-6 pm then again from 10pm til 12 maybe. Great food deals and beer specials on their happy hour list. This is a huge sports bar with awesome food. It is much more than bar food. The menu is large offering wings, salads, sandwiches, pasta dishes, seafood entree's, oysters and steak and burgers. I am obsessed with their wings, they are excellent and meaty. I get the hot wings but they have many sauces to choose from. Then parmesan garlic fries, oh my danger, danger, they are so good. They have a great chicken philly sandwich and fish sandwiches, burgers, oysters!! They offer some great craft beers as well. The inside has TV's everywhere as this restaurant is large with a huge bar area booths, and tables. The booths have their own TV's, love it. After so many visits now the service has always been exceptional. Truly amazing service from the entire staff. One evening we walked in with a large group after a UYE and they set up a huge table for us within two minutes. Not only is the service excellent but the food is very good here. I enjoy coming here so much because the menu is so large and I can always find whatever I might be in the mood for. Great for large party's, watching football or any other sporting events.

Staff is very accommodating, even for larger groups. Menu is versatile, and often creative. (My favorite is the burger with bacon jam. BACON JAM.) Drink selection is great.

  • Danielle J.

The beer selection is good, they have local beers from Funky Buddha to Cigar City. I ordered the raw oysters and the creamy garlic parm wings. The oysters were huge but they seemed to lack some flavor. The wings were good but most of the sauce was at the bottom of the bowl and I had to dip and work for it. Service was good, food isn't bad.

After my review I was contacted by the owner of the establishment and he expressed a deep interest of making sure my experience is a better one in the future and that he appreciates the feedback. I responded back to the owner and feel better knowing that Landlubbers is concerned and isn't afraid to reach out and make it right. I haven't gone back there yet but I will.

We came here on Memorial day for a late lunch. The signs said open but as we walked in we weren't greeted. We had to ask them if they were open. The food made up for it though; it came out fast and delicious. I got the Cajun fried catfish, yellow rice, and TATER TOTS. There goes my diet.

Casual, delicious food, big space, and so much more fun when sitting at the bar. Had a retirement party here and it was bumping! Try the clam shot with vodka.

We had a great experience. Delicious food and we had a great server. Prices are wonderful especially for the kids. I ordered the wasabi tuna tacos but they were just a little to spicy for me. Without me even asking he offered to switch them out for me. The kids asked to come everyday:)

Nice atmosphere for a Saturday night. No liquor, just wine and beer. There is a larger selection of beers, but the first 2 that I ordered were apparently out of stock. Staff was friendly. My girlfriend ordered some wings, her daughter the fried shrimp with tater tots and I ordered the blackened mahi tacos. Everything was delicious, for the most part. The tater tots seemed under cooked and cold, and what really annoyed me was the lack of blackened mahi in my tacos. I had to literally search through my tacos to find any, and the pieces I did find were tiny. Maybe enough to make 1.5 fish sticks. Very disappointing. The wings were great and we loved the fried corn bites. We've gone before and will probably again, though there are better choices around the same area.

Great food, people, and most importantly, great beer. They have good daily specials and a killer lunch menu. They unfortunately got rid of their 1/2 off craft bottles on Thursday, but that's only because people like buying bud light instead of trying a good craft beer for $2.50/$3.00. The staff is always friendly and always tries to please the customer. Best bar in the area if you ask me.

Had the Spicy Baja Pork tacos and a bottle root beer for $13. Tacos were delicious. Would stop in here again when I get my car serviced at the Firestone. Tucked back off 441. Lots of wings, burgers, ribs, salads and sandwiches on menu.

This place is downright amazing. I love it here. First off, it's really clean, nicely laid out, and has a nice feel. It feels family-owned, laid back, and nice. It's not a fancy place, it's not pretentious. They just have good bar food and amazing prices. Like, we got our bill for two meals and an appetizer and were just in so much shock at the prices compared to other places around. I think we high fived about this. The staff was friendly - our waitress in particular was really sweet and kept our drinks filled - which they have HUGE cups so we only needed one refill, and really, I don't think need is the word I should use there. I love when places give you enough in your cup to get through your meal. Since we stopped in at lunch, we didn't get beer, but we'll be back for it because they had a decent selection at awesome prices. The food was good - their fried bar food is why to go. The boneless chicken wings were great - we got them in a PB&J sauce that was totally awesome. They have a great variety of sauces - everything from normal stuff to things that are a bit out there. There were so many to try! I got popcorn shrimp - which were yummy and came with two sides. I had so many I barely ate my sides - but the waffle fries are so crispy and well seasoned. My husband also tried the garlicky-parmesan fries, which are crinkle cut - and the sauce was so good. So good I ate crinkle cut fries, which I normally hate, but were cooked well enough and salted here so I actually liked them. Still, the sauce was better on the waffle fries, so I found myself trying to scrounge the yummy garlicky-parmesan from the basket onto my fries. It's worth it. I find no faults with this place - it's great especially if you want a laid back sports bar with bar food and cheap beer.

Good bar-type food. Bones chicken wings, fish and chips, philly cheese steak are all great! We get takeout when we don't feel like going out for dinner.

My son suggested we try the place. They have a nice full menus with many good choices. My son had the Seafood special that was $10.00, It had the tater tots, popcorn shrimp, and 2 really nice pieces of Swai fish. I had the cheeseburger with fries. it was topped perfectly with Bacon American cheese and 3slices of bacon and red onion. They also have a special where they have grab bag for beer at only $2.50 per beer. It's either a can or a bottle but it's worth a shot. I got a good Organic pilsner beer.

Man that was a fun place! Took the wife out and we found this place in Coco Creek / Parkland area on 441. Awesome food and super friendly staff! Great prices too and fresh raw bar and chicken wings that were out of this World! You gotta try the different sauces. The Asian chili was magic. Wife got the grilled tuna and avocado salad and tore it up! Definitely hitting that place again real soon.

On our first visit, we were not very satisfied with our food. After my initial review, the owner/manager sent me a reply apologizing for our unsatisfactory experience. We recently decided to give them a second chance. Unfortunately, I won't be able to comment on the food because we didn't make it far enough to get any food. We arrived at about 6:00pm on a Saturday night. The restaurant was busy and the staff told us to seat ourselves. We chose one of only two tables left. After about 5 minutes, a server came to the table and asked us if we would like drinks. I ordered an iced tea and my husband ordered a beer. Between the time we came in and we got our drinks, several other tables opened up and more people sat down at the available tables. Our waitress took drink orders for a couple of other tables. She then went back to those tables and took their food order (mind you, we've not had our order taken yet). After watching the server walk by us about 5 or 6 different times without stopping to take our order, we decided the restaurant was not going to redeem themselves during this visit. We waited for our order to be taken for 15 minutes. After that, we weren't interested anymore and went to a different restaurant where we were waited on in a timely manner. So long Landlubber's. You're dead to me.

Stumbled into this place (Coconut Creek) after getting my nails done next door. The smell was intoxicatingly delicious! I opted for the Philly cheesesteak, which was delicious!!! My friend had the Monday special of ribs and wings. Hers was delicious too! ;) The service was the best I have received in quite a while. The staff was genuinely friendly. At least 3 different waitresses attended to us to make sure we were ok, the GM, and I believe the owner. It felt like we were royalty lol. Atmosphere is nice. I liked the outdoor sitting. Food was excellent and service superb. Will go back!

We were looking for a good place to get wings last night. Spent 30 minutes on yelp trying to decide before we ventured out. We didn't want to travel to far from home so we picked this place because of the good reviews. We walked in and it was not what we thought but tried it for the wings. We loved the "seat yourself ", and was greeted and received menus. With all the menu searching for wings we didn't noticed that it was just beer and wine. Not a big deal but I don't really like beer or wine. We decided on pumpkin beer and cider. When I checked in on Yelp we received free Garlic Parmesan fries. It was a very large portion for free and very good (new menu item) . We had the wings ,ordered enough to save some for leftovers. I had the shrimp tacos. Three full tacos and I was glad to get the sauces on the side, very spicy hot. Our server was very nice, I think her name was Emily, not sure if she introduced herself but that was the name on our check. Would I go back maybe , maybe not. It is more of a lunch place than dinner, sort of a cold atmosphere

I always liked the food at the Plantation location so I was excited to try the new one in Coconut Creek. I still like the Plantation Landlubber's better. My friend ordered the Buffalo Chicken Salad. He liked it but he really was not overly impressed with it. I ordered the wings in hot sauce with minced garlic. The sauce was very good and had plenty of garlic and was delicious. The wings were not crispy and sort of mushy. If they were cooked just a little longer I would have loved them. We shared an order of tater tots & ordered them extra crispy. Those were great even though I'm sure they came out of a bag but they still were very good. The blue cheese dressing was sort of watery & tasted like it was definitely out of a bottle. The food here is good but not as good as a few other places in the area. The service was good but could have been a little better. I probably will give them another try at some point but right now I am not in any rush to return. The prices are reasonable & parking was easy. My tip would be to order the wings extra crispy so you wont get mushy ones like I did.

I've eaten here several times and have been pleased each time. Waitresses are friendly, atmosphere is great. We have always been taken care of right away and no delays at all. Just recently I ordered food off the online site and I was blown away by the technology and ease of use it provides. Food has always been great quality and even though it's a "bar", I'll take this over any big name restaurant any day. When I picked up my to go order, what seemed to be the owner or definitely a manager asked about the ordering experience and was genuinely interested about our response. I am very pleased with this place and they will always have our business.

Great food, good prices. Too bad it's not visable from the street thanks to coconut creek and their no big store billboard rule for that BS issue.

This place was very busy on a fri night, which is a good sign. The wings were very good, very tasty. We ordered the burger with Mac and Cheese on it. The Mac and Cheese looked and tasted like it was literally Kraft Mac and cheese from the box. The actual burger was pretty good, although a bit too rare. The service was excellent and everyone was friendly and attentive. We will return to try new menu items.

I live right next door and I found this spot a few weeks back. They have a great craft beer selection and different flavor wings. It's a nice family spot to watch some sports games and have some good bar food. The banana bread beer was off the charts and I would recommend the garlic fries. Could use a few more TVs and be open later.

We notice a sign on SR441 "Landlubbers now open". I had a coupon booklet and decided to check it out. My daughter and I decided to stop in after a quick shopping spree. I had a coupon for a free wing sampler. (6 wings). We preferred "hot". I thought they would be hotter but they were really good. Crispy and the sauce had really good flavor. I checked in on Foursquare and another coupon popped up. I decided to use it on a large order of wings to go as we were on our way to a football party. The manager asked which coupon I wanted to use. I decided not to order the wings since I couldn't use a coupon. Our wing sampler took about 15 minutes to arrive. We waited for plates but our server must've forgotten. There was a roll of paper towels on the table so we substituted that for plates. Three different staff members came to our table to see if everything was ok but no one offered plates and I didn't bothered to ask since we were almost finished. Our server was good about filling our sodas. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken salad medium sauce (before I tried the hot) The hot is closer to medium, I would order hot next time. My salad was good. Blue cheese dressing was good but had humungous chunks of blue cheese in the small container. Toppings were fresh and lettuce was crispy. My daughter ordered a burger and fries and said it was really good. It looked really good and was hooked perfectly. There's a good amount of tv's here but atmosphere was missing a little pizazz. Very bright in there and a lot of booths. Our bill with tip was $30. I expected it to be more crowded since the playoffs were on. Overall the place was clean and the food was good.

This place is wonderful! Friendly service, delicious food, great selection of beers and drinks, clean and casual atmosphere. My husband and I both had the mahi mahi philly, which was delicious. We also checked in and got the free parm fried offer, and those were even better than expected!

Just going to start off by saying it's impossible to get my boyfriend to go to any restaurant considering how picky he is with the service and food. He absolutely loves this place! It is always the first place he names when deciding on a dinner date. The king James burger with the bacon jam is amazing in his opinion and the chicken Philly is phenomenal! Definitely a go-to place when looking for fast cheap and delicious food! The service is excellent considering all of the servers we had always made sure our drinks were full and everything was ok. Would go back anytime and recommend to anyone, one of our favorites!

Read the reviews on Yelp as I normally do when I travel and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Started off with an appetizer of 6 asian chili wings which were fantastic; lightly breaded, fried perfectly, and the sauce was great. For the meal I had the the fish tacos and onion rings; both were amazing. For dessert I had the peanut butter pie, also insanely good. Prices were great as well, wish we had a place like this in Wisconsin so I could convince my wife to go somewhere else besides BW3s and Chilis.

Great food! Great staff! Great service! Wings are yummy. They have tons of flavors. After chatting with the owner last week, I learned that all of their sauces and salad dressings are all made from scratch. He even grows his own peppers for some of the hot sauces. And let me say, all of the sauces and dressings I have tried so far were fantastic. I've had the blackened Mahi sandwich. Yum! Comes with Sriracha tarter sauce that was delish. I'm not usually a fan of tarter (actually I usually think it's gross is more accurate), but I used up every bit of theirs. The Thai Chicken and Noodle salad was also super tasty. The Thai curry salad dressing that it comes with is spicy and full of flavor. I like things hot and even I felt the kick. Ask for a different dressing if you're a wimp with the spicy stuff! The salad was very fresh -loaded with veggies like tomatoes, cucumbers, and sliced avocado(bonus points for anything with avocado! Am I right?) a huge portion of grilled chicken, and Thai noodles. My son tried their Klondike brownie sundae. (OK I admit it, I snagged a few bites...don't judge me) It was soooo good. A Klondike bar instead of a scoop of ice cream on top of a warm brownie. Whipped cream and chocolate sauce over the top. Big enough to share, but tasty enough to make you want it all for yourself.

What a pleasant surprise! Was craving some seafood and had 2 hrs to kill while our daughter was at cheer practice and Landlubber's popped up in my trusty yelp app. I was a little hesitant about the place when we pulled up. It's in a quiet shopping center all the way in the back and the first thing I see on the door is something along the line of "Best Phillies". I'm like "Best Phillies what?!?!" The place is extremely casual and me craving some raw oysters was kind of hesitant on ordering it, but glad that we did. We ordered small orders of a few items and enjoyed all of it. First off, free order of the Parmesan fries when you check in on yelp. They are the thicker type of fries (not typically a fan) with this creamy garlic parmesan dressing and it was soooo good. The fries had a nice crisp exterior and the dressing was so delicious. Bartender brought out a side of hot sauce to drizzle on top and that just made it so much better. Oysters had a few pieces of seaweed still stuck on them but was able to pull it off. They were deliciously creamy and wanted more but ordered a ton of other items so decided to wait for our next visit (possibly next Tues during cheer practice). The skin of the hot wings were nice and crispy but felt the buffalo sauce to be a little too acidic for my taste. In my opinion, a little bit of honey or brown sugar would have made the sauce perfect. The least favorite thing we ordered were the fish tacos. They weren't bad either, just ok. I don't know what they put in the sauce but it tasted extra "herby". I don't know what it was but it really stood out and that's all I could comment on. And there is no liquor!! Bartender stated they are working on it but only wine and beer at the moment. So basically, we'll be back for some more fries and oysters, and more hot wings with some honey added into the sauce. Prices are great btw!!

I've been to the location on Pine Island and my favorite appetizer happens to be their corn bites. I was in the area and had a craving for it so I ordered some to go. They are so yummy and I just couldn't resist a late night snack. When I went to pick them up, the place was pretty empty; just a few locals at their bar. I did notice that this location is smaller than the one in Sunrise but they do have way more lighting, not as dimly lit. My corn bites were pretty much the same as the ones I order from the other location. They were delicious but I did notice that the honey butter looked like regular butter topped with honey. :/ It's usually married together, since it seemed to separate (like oil and water) and I was not expecting that. I had to whisk it with a knife to get it to the consistency I'm use to getting but it tasted great once it was mixed well. I would definitely order from them again.

I've been a fan of Landlubbers ever since they were in Plantation. I was so excited when they opened up in Coconut Creek! And better yet, every time you check in on Yelp, you get a FREE basket of garlic parm fries! :D woohoo! Beware; they are absolutely delicious and addicting ;) This location is very clean, and the staff is great. I have gotten both take out and have eaten in. My son loves the kids cheeseburger and fries; it's pretty big for a kids meal too. I LOVE their Santa Fe Fish Tacos; they are amazing!! You get three huge tacos and a choice of a side; I love their sweet potato fries, worth the extra $0.99. Overall I've had nothing but great experiences with Landlubbers. Great food, great staff and a great place to grab a bite to eat!

Visited this location for lunch with my two young sons a couple weeks back. The restaurant was deserted for a Saturday and thought the location just opened. I was told it's been open for almost a year from staff, and worried this location won't last. It is hidden by another local business on 441. The menu is expansive. Much more is offered than needed to appease clients and control costs. The children enjoyed the traditional burger and wings from kids menu. I tried a Buffalo Sandwich off the today's special menu and while good was nothing unique that stood out. The place was clean and limited staff was very inviting and checked in at reasonable intervals. Because of surrounding eateries and limited view of traffic, they need to come up with some unique marketing.

We had the pulled pork and buffalo chicken sandwiches with waffle fries and regular fries. The waffle fries were great, as were the sandwiches! The regular fries were boring, bland Sysco fare. Soda serving size is Ginormously huge!!! Lots of TVs to catch the games! We will definitely be back!
